word of warning, will not clear all flat spots. even with extensive modifications to rid it *looks at empty bank* but your car will drive so much better lower down and well worth the remap!!!!
even if you dont get massive hp/lb-ft increase you'll be smiling with the way it will now drive.
both ktec and rst were happy with remap compared to standard map although o.e.m ecu hindering clearing some spots and you can have vvt timing changed if wished and max rev is 7800 if you really really want lol

Weebob. You commented on my progress thread, (I think) hoping my remap graph was before the mods, which it wasn't :( . However, overlaying your graph and dragging the scales to corespond, you can see the benefit of the mods and then remap through the majority of the rev range, with a good increase in torque up to 4500rpm. But you actualy pull ahead above 6750rpm. I think Paul used the VVT to boost the torque below 2500rpm

Obviously conditions on the day and differences between rollers make a direct comparisson very dubious. Not huge gains like a derv or turbo, but certainly more usable, which keeps me happy.

I hope this helps :)

nice graph :)
did he change the activation timing on your VVT? got mine kicking in a bit later do to modification changes being a pain :(

I spoke to Mulgari after I saw this thread about a custom cat-back exhaust. They are getting back to me about it with details but I was given a rough estimate on price which was pretty reasonable considering they are currently working on a full custom system for a Mclaren F1 GTR!
I'll make a thread about it when I speak to them again.
Hope you don't mind me jumping on the band-wagon Karl... ;-)

Singlespeed. Now I may have had a beer or 7 but your graph looks more claim than mine. I get sod all before 3k+ then it finally takes off.

I had a Alfa 2l jts that was notorious for being useless before the 2nd cam profile cam in, a remap really sorted things out. In terms of peak it gained about 5bhp, but in terms of drive-ability it as leagues ahead due to the torque low down. Wasn't a holely great experience as the mapper dumped a too little fuel in top end that made the ecu **** itself.

Between 2k and 4k, you have a nicely rising torque line, except for a drop of 5ft/lb or 5% over a 250rpm spread, so as you put your foot down from low revs, the car pulls harder and harder, falters for a second then, briefly the torque rises rapidly which feels like it taking off, when it is actualy playing catch-up

It's that little drop I would love to have smoothed a little. If they could do anything with that it will be money well spent

VVT on the twingo is a progression system so it starts in at 3k and full engaged by 3500, mines 4k-4500 but hopefully more remapping can get it back down again :)
