Its only a standard open diff. Nothing fancy going on to balance the torque, hence it will find the easiest way out, spinning the wheel with no/less grip.scottmainwaring01":3hxdwy0c said:Just been on a drive in mixed driving conditions, motorway, country lanes and roundabouts... Still getting a weird experience when accelerating where the car feels like it's only gripping properly on one wheel. Just throwing ideas out there has anyone experienced any differential problems on twingos?
Any more help would be awesome
And, thats the first time you have mentioned the symptom being the same with different tyres, so for some reason, I was thinking it was a recent problem since fitting these winters :roll:scottmainwaring01":2dsq8kyd said:Just to add I had continental premium contacts on before the winter tyres... Symptoms have been the same with every tyre I've had on the front so far.
When you say the wheel has no play, side to side, I take it when you move the steering wheel, both wheels move without any free play or lag between them.scottmainwaring01":j31glq0o said:Yea there's no knocking so I was a bit sceptic about it being ball joints, although I'm not really sure how to check for wear? The wheel has no play when I move it side to side and the boots are in good order too.
