Well, the car has been at the mapping guy's home for 8 months, that left me plenty of time to save up :).

Hi man
I bought the same thing you used to do Clio 197 Brembo big brakes conversion:
- 300mm brake discs
- Brembo calipers from Clio 197/Megane 225/Punto Abarth
- Twingo R2 Evo caliper brakets
But now i'm in these conditions

It seems that the disc is too small (in diameter)
Can you spot any differences between mine and yours setups?
Thanks in advance!! :)

Yep, we removed approx 10mm to get the caliper and pad to fit perfectly on the discs. It is because the R2 cars use CLio 2 RS hubs and not Twingo 2 hubs and the positioning of the caliper fixation points is slightly different between the two.

One video from this weekend, with some clutch problems (completely impossible to use the clutch at the end of the lap so I'm changing gears without clutching, just by rev matching!!). The car is back at the workshop to try and figure out where the problem comes from...

I don't think that Twingo R2 EVO uses Clio 2 RS hubs

They do, that allows for a bigger bearing.

Are you sure of what are you saying?
Where did you find this information?
I think that Twingo R2 hubs have nothing to do with Clio 2 RS hubs

Not the point anyway. You need to machine out 10mm on your brackets to bring the caliper to the correct position...

The point is, why?
Are R2 hubs different from original Twingo hubs?

If you have time to lose scratching your head for weeks because of a "why is it different" question, then be my guest.

Or you can just machine your brackets, it takes 30', and then enjoy your brakes on your car... up to you mate.

Machine 10mm from the bracket, lose 10mm of material where there isn't space, lose 10mm of thread and make screw i bought from Renault not to fit?
