    Poor radio reception

Tried the copper grease on aerial mast thread, now I seem to get much improved reception! Thanks. Ordered an amplified fakra to din lead adaptor to further improve reception. Then I'll have a go at the steering control lead, that's if I have any room left behind the stereo! Bit tight to say...

    Poor radio reception

Nice one, I think I'll purchase one of those leads, got to be worth a go. I'll also try the aerial fix see if that helps. Cheers for the response.

    Poor radio reception

I thought briefly about buying a steering control lead but was put off by the price, glad I didn't bother! Has anyone fitted a new stereo and had no problems with the radio reception? There must be a way to make it work.

    Poor radio reception

Definitely put the aerial in the back of the Sony, pushed it in as far as it would go, the other end (fakra) made a reassuring "click" as I pushed into the cars aerial lead. So no idea. Can't think why rubbish factory fit stereo had perfect reception & now it hasn't unless the cars aerial was...

    Poor radio reception

Hi everyone. Fitted a new Sony head unit to replace poor standard one, fitted the Fakra to din adaptor lead fine. But now notice reception is far poorer than before, has anyone else had this/know how to resolve it? Does the original aerial have power going to it? Could it be that new stereo...

    Something to look out for.

I have had a very annoying squeak like metal on metal when going on and off the gas (parking etc) Thought it sounded like the exhaust touching something or a mount rubber gone. Got so fed up with it I got under the car and found a brake pipe coming from the passenger side bulk head was laying...

    Actis solution

I've been having the usual cold kangerooing like many others on here so I've booked it in to my dealers for this Thursday. They tell me I need to have scan of ECU done before they will consider doing the actis solution and it will only be done if the car comes up with certain fault codes and...

    side decals

I liked them, thought they were kinda cool, bit retro. Unfortunately I saw the pics after his mate left bonnet open & it did rather a lot of damage! Oops

    side decals

https://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/jamesw1990/Mycar002-3.jpg was just browsing photos on here and saw this twingo with renaulsport stickers along the side. does anyone know if you can buy these stickers to fit as I quite like them? I assume the car had them on from the factory.

    Are twingo's prone to dents?

I'm going to see dent repair guy next Saturday. He seems to think he can sort it or at least make it less. Thanks for your help

    Iron oxidisation?

When washing 133 I notice along the channels in the roof and at the painted edges of rear windows there are some tiny rust spots in the paint (pin head size) When I rub my finger nail over them they appear to go, would this be iron oxidisation? If so once I have clayed and waxed car will they...

    Are twingo's prone to dents?

Cheers. I have asked my local dent guy for a quote this morning. I'm just not sure they will do it as there doesn't appear to be access to the rear. But worth a try

    Are twingo's prone to dents?

Ps its not all that dark patch that's shadow! Thought i would mention. Dent ends just where bottom of shadow is.

    Are twingo's prone to dents?

Not sure if you can see it properly but if you scan with your eye just above Renault badge then to your left its sort of half moon shaped right at the edge where bonnet meets bumper. Is that similar to damage Renault fixed?

    Boy Racers.

VRS was on a 55 plate as far as I could tell (as he didn't get close enough for a proper read lol) So must have had vag diesel lump in. Think new ones are all petrol, I really like them but prefer the more compact size of my 133.

    Are twingo's prone to dents?

I'm just unlucky! Must of had a stone hit & didn't notice. It does p###s me off though, the problem is when you have a nice shiny new (ish) car every little thing really shows up where as when I was young and had old bangers I didn't really care. Oh, and I am an extreme perfectionist when it...

    Boy Racers.

I was quite surprised when a Skoda Fabian VRS came along side me on a dual carriage way off a round about (soon as he saw me it was obvious he was gonna go for it) and from 2nd through to me having had enough (not wanting to loose licence!) he did not get even level with me. I was under the...

    Are twingo's prone to dents?

Just wondering because I have had mine less than a week and a small dent has appeared on the edge of the bonnet. Took it to local body repair place and they said can't be removed from under side so £250 for full bonnet re spray. So the dent stays!!! Not visible from all but a few angles so...

    Loose body parts

Cheers, that seems like over kill! The clips look pretty standard to me the type where you insert the outer part then fit centre pin which splays out clip to hold. As my car is still under Renault warranty I wonder if I should take it in. Although it would seem like a lot of hassle having to...

    Rear speakers

Do all standard 133s have no rear speakers? I was amazed that mine didn't, have never had a car without 4 speakers. So does my car have the wiring/plug and necessary place to fix a speaker? If so I'll get a couple of 13cm coaxial speakers & fit. I know you don't hear the rears much in a car...
