I got my car in a big Renault dealership, been there once to show something wrong to my car. I waited there almost for an hour and I still didn't talk to anyone from the garage itself. Well I haven't been there again. I rather go to a smaller dealership thats more friendly and less people that work so that it's easier to get to know them and they get to knwo you.

That's not good !! Bad service......

Renault Trade Guy would be an unusual name to choose unless you were in the trade and also specificaly Renaults.

Ness motors in Inverness have been helpful and pleasant for my service and also when sorting the wheel bolts out between them and their Elgin branch. It doesn't take much effort to be helpful and make a customer feel valued.

I would agree ness motors have been very helpfull in my last two visits a few years ago they also have a good used car warranty !!
you forgot to comment on my observation about your user name ;)

Everyone has their own opinion with dealerships. Iv never had a problem with mine, all friendly, quick getting the car in for services etc but as they are a small dealership they unfortunately went into administration so iv had to go to a bigger dealer. They are still as good but you don't quite get the personal touch like you do with the smaller places.

Hear lots of bad press about Arnold Clark!

My local dealer - Jaybee Renault in Banbury can't be praised enough :) They're now Oxfordshire's only independant Renault dealer as Crossroads Renault Oxford was bought out by the Hartwell dealer chain a couple of weeks back, I can see C/S potentially going downhill.

Particularly as my dad had a new Ford CMAX from Hartwell Ford and it kept having problems and they wouldn't fix it, or insisted there was nothing wrong with it. So yeah I think Hartwell have a bit of a negative reputation.

Jaybee is a good dealer but they charged me for changing a part on my service they didn't change and I know someone who had the same problem
