I like a lot! Been thinking about this for a while. Did you not get the back of the speedo done to match?

No I think it would be too much getting the back of the speedo done. Just getting the 4 parts done suits me

Just removed these

Need to try it, as its gonna be a few mm lower on the outside of the car as the spacer on the inside is taller. I can't tell myself on the drive but that's not to say its just me, or the drive, or the lack of moving. Certainly feels better lower though.

Just need a very deep 13mm socket to fit over the bolts and get the car on stands, takes about 2 mins

I'm afraid I hate the prorace 1.2. If I had a penny for every corsa and fiesta I saw with some, I'd have a lot of pennies.

I will be remaining OEM+ as much as possible, so the wheels need to be from another Renault. Hence the choice of the 3

And yes the spacer is from under the seat. The runners now sit on the carpet flat. The spacer, as I said, is a little taller on the inside, but I haven't noticed a change with a quick drive down the road. Seat is now easily an inch lower, feels better for it.

Make a guide how to remove it please! Being 6ft2 I find my driving position way too high

How easy are they to get out? Will be something ill be tackling ASAP.

Ok. I was going to wait until I found a spacer for the passenger side to make up the difference to prevent a load of lopsided 133 drivers bopping about the place. I will do one later tonight when I've got the camera charged up.

It's literally 4 nuts and you don't even remove the seats

You know you want wheels like mine ;)

Ah ok, for the uneven seat I read that a few people on cliosport just use a few washers to even it out.

Are there spacers on the passenger seat? As they don't have an option to raise/lower the seat and a few people I drove about would like it lower also lol

Haha yeah I love the 182's and love the idea of them for cleaning! Plus the offset would work pretty well. But I'm not sure I like them in black, they don't really seem to suit it very well

Well I only removed them today and realised, and will be looking this evening for something to space it back to the same. Having just taken the car out though, I can safely say I can not feel the difference. There is 5mm difference so 2 small spacers will theoretically be required for the inside 2 bolts. But that won't take 2 mins to sort. Although I now can't fit under my car to undo any of the bolts

I will admit that when I tried... I rolled in some bird crap. It was EVERYWHERE! Had to have a good shower after :(

I jacked the car up on the back and got her on axle stands at a good height and the low ride on the front was quite restrictive still. Struggled to get the one inside the heatshield.

Development:

Amy developed a rattle the last couple of days. Really annoying, it's a metallic rattle on the drivers side front strut. Assumed it was a top mount as all other bolts were solid. And that's under the scuttle of course
It's like a hollow metallic ringing over bumps. And annoying as i checked every bolt was done up after 500 miles since they went on...

So I get home this evening, look at it and suddenly realise. The locking wheel bolt is the culprit!

Will Renault sell me a single bolt? Or do I need to purchase a set of 4?

This is the one that I hammered the old key into when the key broke.
