yeah intercooler and then ill stick a set of 182 injectors and remap on it, id like to do something sound wise with it as it sounds like a hair dryer! but all the exhausts ive found so far sound loud and boy racerish, i supose im just looking something similar to the way the clio 200 sounded volume wise but not sure ill get anything so better to have it sounding weak than sounding too loud!

yeah it needs stanced to man it up a bit but not sure what route to go, fancy sticking with 15s due to cheap rubber and them driving better on non RS cars but not sure what to go for OZ F1s i think might suit it in bright silver but not sure if they will look a bit to "old" for the car

i was gonna stick a set of loweing springs on it but by the time it bursts the dampers after about 6 months and i end up replacing them etc im probably better sticking a set of coilovers on it.

probably get winter out the way first!

im very fussy with suspension on my cars unfortunately ive never had a set of lowering springs on a car for more than 5,000 miles without having to change dampers. i used to do my 172 dampers every couple of years. i drive my cars pretty hard and dont like risking a burst rear damper trying to kill me again lol!!!

fused bulb behind the heating pannel replaced :)

the dealer mark on your old plates wasn't too bad, compared to some.

However, that said I much prefer them clean :)

Looks smart :) I have a thing for red cars... gutted I couldn't find a decent red GT near me for the same price when I bought mine. I think changing the plates was one of the first things I did too as dealer plates are gash..

What are they? I keep seeing them for sale on cliosport
its like a bluefin. home remapping. personally i would never buy one i would get my car mapped on a rr by professionals

Sam you obviously don't know about the guy who makes the maps who owns the rs tuners ... And I've got an rs tuner it's great bit of kit and the map henk has created is awesome!

sorry i was under the impression that it was like a bluefin but for Renault sports. but iv just been looking at them as we speak and there much more than what i think they was. the do actually look quite good.

The guy who makes them is called henk and is a well known Renault tuner in Netherlands I agree rr would be better but for a standard map henks is spot on plus you get slot with the tuner I'm going to get custom map from henk just after Xmas then when cars fully done taken to Paul at rs :p

dont get anymore professional than henk, no need for a RR, stick your 182 injectors in, go out data logging and henk will write you a map, go data logging to check the new map and he will tweek it as needed until its perfectly.

same goes for different cams etc

the software also allows you to monitor all sensors on the engine giving live data on throttle position, battery voltage, coolant temperature, boost pressure, inlet temp etc etc along with a few other nifty features like 0-60 times, estimated engine power etc although ive never played with them before

Received the RS tuner today, sent henk the screenshot with my car details and he sent me the best performance map to suit it. uploaded it and WOW!!!!! ive driven a few remapped TCE renaults and they are impressive but this thing is just savage! the mid range torque is brilliant, im hardly taking it past 4000rpm even when going for it.

it threw up the engine management light and went into limp mode, but after switching it off and then back on again it was gone, logged a few fault codes so ive sent them over to Henk to see what he thinks but i recon its the injectors spitting out the dummy due to me having a k-tec filter too as well as the map, as the map is designed to get the maximum out the standard car and i think my filter may just be pushing them past their limit. I done some data logging and 2nd gear at 5800rpm it hit 98% injector duty, so 4th gear up a hill etc then it will most likely be pushing past 100% but ill see what Henk recons and update you guys.
