After removing the driveshaft. Disconnecting the dogbone gave us a bit of extra room to get the RS manifold out, by allowing the bottom of the engine to be pushed forwards slightly. The rs mani/cat is prety large and didnt need the subframe removing... although thats a different engine and gearbox so the leftover space will be different but I would imagine that the GT cat isnt any bigger

cheers buddy that's what I was thinking of doing if I need the extra room, gives me an excuse to change the gearbox oil once a year I suppose lol!!

ever have any bother with ur rear coilovers knocking? I cant get to the bottom of it!

What side did you put your rear adjusters at top or bottom of the spring? ive tried both and its knocking regardless, doing my nut in!!

deffo the rear dampers knocking as I stuck the standard ones back on with AP springs and it stopped, I didn't like the design of the rear top mounts when fitting but decided to try them anyway, decided to chuck the AP dampers in the bin and ordered a set of Koni ones today lol

Possibly they have changed the design of the top mount or somthing who knows as its nothing like the fk or bilstein kits. A pair of washers abd a pair of rubber bushes on each damper?

new rear dampers, no more knocks and handles a bit better than the AP's too which was a nice bonus!

was on the rollers again, 119.8bhp and 146lb/ft - nearly 2bhp and 2lbft more than last time plus over 5 degrees higher ambient temperatures than before so going in the right direction!

had a rusty top engine mount so decided to give it a lick of hammerite smooth

Ordered a set of FK 30mm hub centric spacers tonight too!

I know you said that they rattled, but did you try a second set of rear dampers before switching to the Apex.

Pesky turbos... " oh look at my 146ft/lb torque figure". Damn you

2x15mm spacers. 30mm track increase?

yeah guys its 15mm per side so 30mm overall track.

singlespeed, na I didn't try another set I didn't like the top mount bushes on them, I recon they are designed for the clio and never been tested on the twingo which looks very slightly different but its ages since I played with a mk2 clio. Was going to go Koni but Apex were half the price and ive used them before so thought id give them another go!

hehe yeah its a nice meaty torque figure hopefully more to come once the decats on.

Nicely fills the arches now :)

I think theres less things in/under the arches on the non RS models, which should give you less problems
