I was proberly at my mums mate she lives a near revoe school.

It's weird you should mention this as I'm sure I saw you (x4 orange wheels was the first thing i noticed) on my way to work last week but this car was identical to yours but it had bright orange wheels. Then mike told me you had changed them.lol you sorted you suspension out yet?

yeah mate is all sound now! will have been me on my orange wheels hahaha

loving the pinstripe mate, really sets it off nicely :)
Cheers mate, I was going to put some on the front too (up the side near the no. plate) but thought it would be to much.

spent the day with blacktwingo-i today fitting my new springs, i also had chance to listen to his new exhaust too!! its pritty impressive and loud!!! lol

heres a before and after pic!

i must say if anyone hasnt done this yet then get it done pronto!!! the differance is astonishing. it handles so much sharper than before. it didnt take us to long about 2hrs in total we had no hiccups its pretty stright forward to do.

Looks good :) how much of a drop is that on now?

30 front 40 back mate it's just spacers I need to get now, Iv seen you got into a bit if a situation yesterday! Glad to hear your ok.

Awesome, mine going -40mm all round next week, joining the lowered bridage lol :)

Cheers mate, had a bit of a lucky escape considering :-/ just need to buy a new tyre now :-( oh well I'm alive so who cares lmao

The difference is shocking! But i cant help but think of it like this..

1.2 suspension is soft as shit and completely disgusting to drive round corners with

Lowered 1.2 is pretty frigging good.. Sharper and brilliant to drive

Twingo sport cup package feels 10xstiffer than even the lowered 1.2..

And then people put springs on that and its even stiffer..

And then people put coilovers on.. And its EVEN stiffer..

I bet it is like sex driving a sport with coilovers..

I would have expected it to be stiffer. But it appears not all coilovers are equal.

Compliant, sharp and certainly sex

is it true of people who mod their cars, that after doing every posssible mod they can think of, they sell it , buy something else and start all over again? not a gripe, just a thought.

Ive done shit loads to mine mate, im purposely looking for a car i will not mod.. Something high spec with all the right things on it, to spend as little as possible on!

Ive modded mine cause it looked naff and handled like a bag of shit, if it already looked the part, was comfy and handled well, i wouldnt of spent a penny

Probably  I've only had one standard car but I have generaly moved on because I fancied a change, not because I ran out of things to do. Although the Audi had reached the extent of sensible and not so sencible mods not long before getting the Dini.

If your into modding, theres no point in getting a car that you won't mod... You will get bored and start anyay

I think for me it's the tinkering about I love the most, people spend hours cleaning their cars and i like to spend hours making it that little bit better. I know itl never be at all fast but it's the fun element I look for! I'm loving my twingo and if there is anything I can do to make it that tiny bit better and more fun to drive then why not do it! Even if there's a point that iv had enough of it (highly doubt for a long time) then there's nothing better then taking parts off it to sell or give to someone so they can enjoy them too! Nothing wrong with that if you ask me!

I don't think it's a case of doing it up until there isn't anything more to do, with my old car i had plans of what i wanted to do, over a couple of months i would get the parts needed and get the car how i wanted it, within a week i would have more plans and then it would start again, i twice got to the point where i found a 'better' car so i stripped it down to standard and sold all of the parts, then decided against selling and rebuilt it, it's all part of the fun!

I know i said i wouldnt mod.. But i must admit ive been pricing up coilovers, spoilers, wheels etc for a 197 already :(((((
