Looks fantastic.

I'm really quite liking it. If the new RS version holds up the driving quality of the current rs Clio it will definitely have to be on the list of things to try for my next car.

24k euro's for new rs with shifterpads sounds not bad at all

so if i read correct 1.6L boosted around 190 to 220 hp and around 280 TQ  nice

that blue picture the side looks stolen from the megane RS lolz im quite liking it

just a Tce interior i wonder what the RS interior will look like ;)

I've seen it in person (only from the outside, as it was locked...) and in red metallic (as seen above) it looks great, really!

I'm actually rather liking the look of the new Clio. It actually looks more of a descendant of the Clio MKII Phase II than the MKIII Clio ever did.

I like how the RS looks mean and angry even with a five door lay out. I mean those rear doors don't stand out in a bad way as much as I do generally prefer a three door model.

My only grip for the new RS Clio is it having one of these paddle/DSG type gearboxes. I don't care if it shaves off 0.00002 of a second from it's 0-60 times, I want to have what I feel personally is proper control over my car. Half of the fun of a hot hatch is the gear change. I don't want to go click, click, click through the gears. I want to miss a gear change if I don't drive it properly. I don't doubt the RS will be a fantastic car but the gear box is my main bug bear.

I'd go so far as to say I prefer the the way this one looks over the Clio 200 as although that's a purposeful car, it's not a looker in my eyes.

I'm rather undecided on it. The back has grown on me but the front is just a no no. It's to much like the facelift twingo with the ridiculously huge Renault badge on the front.

Seen the new Clio RS cup race car?

A reworked version of the new Clio Renaultsport 200 EDC, it possesses the selfsame distinctive lines and an F1-style blade, a tribute to Renault’s success in Formula One.
Compliant with all the latest safety regulations and boasting a welded roll cage, the new Clio Cup is powered by a 1.6 litre direct-injection turbo-charged engine, which will be sealed and will offer controlled mapping.
It also has a steering-wheel paddle shifts for even slicker gear changing.

I'm presuming they're either welded or not "real" doors.

Don't they usually just have no locks etc and are welded? TBH I have no idea just guessing. It's not unusual, see the honda boys in the btcc running the 5 door 1.6 turbo civics.

I wonder where they lost the weight in the new clios? ANd if the gear box adds the lost weight back?

this sentence keeps me anoyed that they use in evrything if they put up a picture of there new clio RS stop with the F1 inspired crap and make a sports car seriously ....

Only from a distance and a fleeting look, but spotted my first new Clio this morning.

Same metalicy red with black side panels as shown in the current TV ad. Looked rather good
