Chris Harris saying a good fun drive - might be a sales hit!

TBH recently I've been looking a little at GT-86s. I know they're quite different beasts but with the extra practicality and starting £6K cheaper I'm definitely very tempted to go look at a 200 EDC.

Sat in a new Clio today. In black, I must say its quite a good looking car. Far nicer than th pics look. Feels more upmarket inside, even in a standard model.

Plastics in the back are still shocking though.

Boot nice and big. And I could sit in the back with the front seat in my driving position with a few mm to spare. Not as good as I hoped but not a disaster.

It's certainly a contender and booked a test drive in an RS as soon as its in

I asked for a test drive too but the guy from the Renault garage in Belgium said "No"..

They're afraid someone is going to chrash it.

My local dealers getting a LY yellow 200 in may but its a showroom model so can't test drive it :(

They're gonna do well to convince people it's a decent steer if they're trying to sell it on looks alone

I love the look of this car! I actually think I might look at getting this! :/

Im waiting on Ness Motors getting there demonstrator in then im booking a test drive, if it drives well im going to order one in Flame Red with Lux pack, Cup Chassis, RS Monitor, Heated Leather

No it's not clear! At Renault last weekend and the salesman knew his stuff and said it was the worst website of any of the manufacturers. TBH I would want the Lux with heated leather as a minimum anyway but the site does need bringing up to date really

Have just been reading over on the RUK forums and apparently it's getting an update on Tuesday next week to coincide with the opening of the order books.

Would have thought they'd want people to be able to have a look and see what they like for the money before ordering opens, but I guess it's their call...

I went in to Arnold clark to get a quote on one today and they had no idea what it was and told me they couldn't order it as it obviously wasn't released yet and they were yet to hear about it.

good old Renault!

just wanted a quote from Arnold clark as bargaining power with ness motors when ordering

If you haven't already - I'd let the RUK guys over on the Renaultsport forum know about that. They were quite interested in a similar post about another dealer
