Getting a quote to get it chrome plated, not a clue how much it will cost.. But then ill get it welded to the original tow hook.. Soo it actually functions :lol:

Mate.. Ive polished the **** out of this thing countless time.. I cant be arsed doing it anymore cause it goes like this after a week!!!

My dirty rusty ring is very irritating.. And i have even wire brushed it, so ive probably wrecked the polished finish?

buy another one then and clean it often with wd40. its proberly nackerd from the salt in the rain and on the roads we get cos we live on the coast, buying a new one might just end up the same a few months down the line.

Thats the reason i dont wanna buy a new one, if i can get it chromed up it should protect it from getting rusty and will be easier to clean..

I think it is just bare un-treated metal, hence why its rusting caise its cheap!
