Singlespeed I love your choice of wheel, I think the design is perfect and would like some black ones myself. Can I ask why you picked 15 and not 16 inch though? Do you prefer the handling of the 15's? The cheaper tyres? The looks? Or would 16's not fit without rubbing?

Oh and after reading your thread I've just this morning removed my rear seats. I wasn't expecting them to be so heavy? So on top of shedding 36kg I now have a couple less rattles too whoop whoop :) Just need the strut brace and cargo net now.

2118s aren't available in 16s.

If you keep the rear seats in, if they are the two individual seats, you can use some type of grease on the springs. That's were the rattles and squeaks come from.

Oh, thanks for the tip btw.. :p One of my rear seats rattles badly, quite annoying..

Yep certainly annoying but I've learned that the squeaks/rattles etc make the car what it is
I took my car back to renault and all they did was put some grease on which did the job for a short while, now I just grease them myself everynow and then. Lift up the rear of the seats and they should just pop out

not doing dbw ones? just cable throttle?

do look awesome as with all there products.
The DBW actuator would probably clash the Alternator stay bracket, or the thermostat housing if it went on the end. It maybe a possibility to get it ontop of the package, like this.

Its almost certain that a standalone ECU will be needed anyway, so I'm not too bothered now as the biggest disadvantage will be loosing cruise control and traction control :? I think I can manage without it if needs must. As the modelling has only been taken from a cylinder head and inlet manifold, plus the photos we sent, maybe I'll decide on wether to go DBW or make a replacement throttle pedle assembly if theres physically enough room in reality

what every happens it gonna be a good bit of kit. Just wish id had the cash when the chance first came up now. Making me jealous haha =P

What time frame are they looking at from your development to the kit being on sale ?

If it fits straight on then I would imagine it would be avaliable very soon after.

Your tempted to get your bodies on ebay arent you

Made me laugh

Off to bed now, before I start ordering the bits and pieces to put the battery in the boot (its going to happen anyway but not today)

Neil , What angle to the inlet flange have they gone for? doesn't look very much maybe 20-30 degree?
Looks to be about that. Too little and they will hit the alternator and too much will leave the trumpets too close to the bonnet/slam panel to get a filter on :?

Either way, its going to be tight. I've got a Mk2 clio expansion tank which I think will work, so I can move the original from under the slam panel and have it next to the engine mount... I'll have to chop a small section out of the inner skin of the bonnet for the reservoir cap to fit into as its a few mm too tall at the moment

ok now i am exited :) i cant wait for this to be released, i have been approaching companies asking if they could make a custom plate for some 182 bodies or something similar but they all say they dont want to touch it. Also i am pretty certain we will need a standalone edu such as the Gen90 that ktec are still finetuning. I heard that omex make one that would work but it is very expensive along with fitting and base mapping.

interested to see how this progresses :)

Sorry I didn't fallow everythings

from witch company is that from ? ^^
