There's also a piece of protection plastic in the front and told me to take that out as well as it blocks air from getting in.

Is this relevant to rs twingos aswell? If so, where is it? Ta

Don't know, yotah said it's some protection from rain or something..

When I removed my bumper for painting the front decals, it's a large piece of plastic that sits on the inside of the bumper. It's down left in the corner when you're standing infront of the car.

You can remove it easily when the bumper is off the car as it only held in place with some plastic clips.

and I think I'll be getting this:

Only need to measure some of the space I got for the correct size.

I have some awesome friends :D

I didn't even got home yet and a friend calls me that he has some solution for my airintake.

He came to my house with some flexible hoses and straps and we came up with a momentarily solution:

Pulled out the plastic cover and placed the hose there:

Gonna work on a funnel and place that in the nose so it catches more air but for the time this will do.

every bit of fresh air helps ;) , about that plastic piece in the bumper i do also want to get rid of it looks ugly to me

You can pull it out from the outside of the car. You don't need to take off the bumper to remove it.

Don't really understand what its for as there are no 'fragile' parts behind it.

Edit: I also tried something out yesterday when placing this tube I also placed a part of the original OEM cold airintake back. It's pointed at the pipe of the Sparco filter. This is aluminium so it gets quite hot. Hopefully this way, there's a bigger air circulation.

Ordered some goodies from demontweeks.

Bigger cold-airintake pipe (51 mm) and an oval intake duct (152mm x 51mm). The duct will fit nicely where I took out the piece of plastic (its about the same size).

Previous week I emailed W&D the topic from araf where he fitted an AP kit on his Wind.

Yesterday evening I got an email from W&D for the coilovers saying that AP is willing to deliver the kit but so far with no TÜV approval papers (MOT).

He then asked if they could provide the papers for Belgium and he will keep me updated.

I was looking for something like that. I was looking more in the direction of a foil but this will do I think :D

So, the aluminium pipe has been shortened (as yotah adviced me to), the scoop & cold-air feed pipe installed.

The front details are taken out. Friend of mine will respray them in white and place a nice coat of varnish on them and I should get them back Friday.

That may not be good. You may have cold air arriving at the filter, but you are restricting flow in 2 areas.

1/ The type and length of pipe you are using will cause eddys along it's length, reducing the flow rate.

2/ Having the end of the cold pipe in the mouth of the air filter will reduce the amount of air that can arrive at the element.

The only way of knowing if you are restricting the air filter, is by knowing what the flow rate of the element is.

I would go back to your old setup, where the cold air feed stopped short of the filter mouth. The filter will still draw the cold air in

6th of July, my car is going in for some carbon wrap.

Front and rear Renault logo, the 2 chrome shells on top of the booth and my roof are getting black carbon wrap.

I first wanted black gloss for the roof but they adviced me not to. The foil is very thin and the roof has some texture in it. The texture would probaly be viewable through the foil. Carbon foil is thicker and looks very nice on a black car.

225€ for the whole package.

I just became more complicated/expensive..

Due to the roof having some texture in it they asked to stop by and test a small piece of wrap to see if it sticks on.

So I did today before I went to work but no avail, if I want a carbon foil wrap on the roof I need to get it primed, which involves getting some sandpaper over it first.

Probaly an extra 150€
