Dunno, not really a polyester tuner :p

Whilst waiting for my Weitec kit to arrive

I've ordered some goodies:

&

I also removed some old ones because I don't want it to be a sticker-book either :D

Keychain arrived today and I like the looks of it, its made out of wood and fits well within the theme of my Hawaiian hula girl on my dashboard

Edit:

I got a text message today from W&D Tuning that my coilovers were send from Germany on 22/06 and should arrive somewhere this week.

Got a confirmation that my coilovers arrived and will be fitted this Friday evening.

Looking forward to it :D

It's only been lowered 3 cm's.

Next week I have to go back for a check up and to see if everything is fine, and if I want to lower it even more.

I can drop for another 5 cm's and the springs are still settling in..

looks proper clean now ;) , but if you want it to be useless and not to drive sporty slam it and put 15" on :D

Thx Dubz :D

You mean something like this?

These are the ones he has for sale

Lookin' good man!

And I'm unsure about the Enkei's to be honest.
They are wheels that must have been used pretty good before. in other words, make sure they are perfectly straight or that you pay very little money for them

I wondering something and I need araf's opinion.

Araf's is on AP and I'm wondering if his rear springs looks like that as well.

I must say, when I saw your picture, I thought it looked coil-bound.

I don't know what mine look like, as I haven't looked underneath since the were fitted. I'll have a look tomorrow. :)

It´s weird how your rear springs look, they seem to be fully compressed now that the car is lowered, and apparently you´re riding on the dampers only basically.
I would have the guys check on that before dropping the car even more, and be careful if you drop it more (i´ve done it, but you know how I use it...) because you will quickly rub in the wheel arches and go through the plastic quickly.

Regarding your rear springs, how does the car feel when you drive it on bumpy roads? rebounding or not? When you enter a corner, does it drop a bit and then gets stuck in position when the forces transfer to the exterior wheels? As if the spring is working for a few millimeters or centimeters, giving you suspension, and then you reach the damper and the car is basically rigid, stuck on it, and the suspension doesn´t travel anymore?
We had the problem on the Megane RS that the racing team uses on the Nurburgring, springs too soft and too short, running on the dampers, the car felt very blurry when entering the corners, then was dropping on the dampers and was stuck like this for the whole corner, not moving anymore. Bilstein machined us some spacers overnight for the race and for the next one we got harder springs.

Haven't really tested it out intensively due to the fact that my steering is way off and shaky when I go over 130 km/h (my right front wheel has a bigger negative camber than my other wheel).

But I have taken a few corners with more speed than I was used to.

I was thinking the same, that the ride should be alot harder but so far, it's okay.
It's firmer, alot less body roll but not bone hard.

Few occasions where I've taken a speedbump that I hear metal squeeking but thats it.

My rears are the same. The middle 4 coils are doing nothing as they are fully compressed, and everything is being done by the top, and the bottom, which have a tighter coil.

Yotah, I don't understand what you mean by 'riding on the dampers' ??? The damper is just that.

You think it's unhealthy for the springs?

Thing is, I've posted this also on another forum about tuning (Tuned Belgium) and they're saying it really looks unhealthy for the back springs..

During this week I'm going back to W&D and I'll see what he says.

Worst case scenario is removing the coils, go with the H&R springs and hold on to the coils until the day I decide to get a Twingo RS :p

I thought that the coilovers wouldn't fit the twingo RS? Or is that different for the wind?

Well the coilovers for the RS don't fit non RS models. I don't know if that is the same with the Wind to the twingo RS
