They don't? Weird

First time I've heard that..

Well the coilovers for the RS don't fit non RS models. I don't know if that is the same with the Wind to the twingo RS
Twingo RS & Wind share the same chassis.

This coilover kit is from a Twingo RS.. unless the box of Weitec is lying to me :p

Ahh I didn't know that :p Must have overlooked that if it's somewhere earlier in the thread. My bad :p

My rears are the same. The middle 4 coils are doing nothing as they are fully compressed, and everything is being done by the top, and the bottom, which have a tighter coil.

Yotah, I don't understand what you mean by 'riding on the dampers' ??? The damper is just that.
If your compressing the suspension and the damper piston reaches its fully retracted point whilst the spring still had travel left, you would be effectively riding on the damper as a solid strut instead of a compliant spring. The masive change in spring rate from sprung to solid would make for very interesting handling. To test theres still plenty of travel left in the damper, disconnect the lower shock bolt and then push the lower end of the damper upwards and see where it bottoms out.

I know on the Mk4 Golf platform that Weitec rear springs had a few bound coils in the middle. This let them effectively make a short stiff spring for a larger drop and use an adjustable platform to raise the height again. Whilst allowing the spring to still stay in place at full droop when the center coils would seperate and take up the extra travel.

Went back today for a check and see if everything is fine.

I asked if it's normal for the rear springs and he said yes.

There was a BMW 3-series there also on Weitec and although the rear springs sits up straight there, you can't compare it with every car.
It's because with the RS chassis, the rear springs sits in a bend.

If the spring would be stiffer and shorter it would either not go any lower or fall off the rear axle.

Anyway, the car has been lowered even more.

Rear is on the lowest but he warned me that the springs will still settle in. During the month it will lower again by another centimeter.

I asked his opinion for spacers but he advised me not to. Clip of the rear bumper is in the inside of the wheelarch. The smallest spacer would make the tire hit it and it wouldn't only be a matter of time before my rear bumper would come off

Would go and take pics but it's raining dogs outside.

I'm gonna go check with W&D, where I placed my coilover kit, if it would fit. The guy know well what rims would fit or not because ET 10 is a difference with the OZ's being ET 35 meaning these would go 3 cm's wider.

On the rear no problem but the front is a different question.

Orignally I wanted to (long time ago) to use spacers on my original renault 17" rims to go wider until I was told that if you want to go wider, do it with rims.

haha, weird commercial for some cigarettes

Went to go look at my car but damn, 3 cm's wider is alot :?

Finding stuff for this car is pain in the ass!

I like the very first ones you posted, and definitely find the last ones heavy and quite ugly.

But, 8" with ET so low, You´ll rub a lot no?

The ones with ET 10 might be too extreme, ET20 sounds a little better.

Need to find some rim calculator to see exactly how wide rims go compared to other ones.

Found a possible potential one:

Rota Torque

16"
7j
ET 28

My OZ's are ET 35 so these would be 7mm wider.

On the front that would make them almost equal with the wheelarch. Looking for some rims with a concave look and there's no rush so the search continues :)

+ these weigh 8,7 kilos and my OZ's 9,4 kilo's so I can add a +5 bhp sticker
