will have to let you know when i taking 'the noodle' to the ring in the summer, will be nice to see the nurburgring special edition

By then, the car should be finished with the new brake setup also :)

I hope to lap under 8'30 during the summer, and hit the 8'20 before the winter :)

Where are you living? Because honestly, it's worth the trip ... And with a few days, you could do the Porsche / Mercedes museums in Stuttgart to make the trip even more worth it.

Mods are coming but I keep my mouth shut until I've got all the parts on the table for the picture :)
But the list is looooooong !

im uncertain as to whether i should leave mine standard

i am the same, but think i gonna leave it for now as its still a new car and then in a year or so might start to chage it, but love it as it is at the moment

I would advise to wait a bit for the remap, after getting a proper airbox and exhaust fitted, so that you take better advantage of these mods at the same time.

For example for me, i remapped it as i already has these two options done, but i'll have to get it done again when the cams, the r2 airbox, the modified plenum, and the manifold will be changed. So that means two reprogs...

I Currently have a K&N forced induction, but I'll switch to Twingo R2 / CLio V6 airbox this month.
I'll have the CatCams fitted on the car as soon as I get some news from KamRacing regarding the production of the parts :)

I'm thinking of changing the exhaust manifold this summer, it will be the occasion for me to learn welding ...

I'm def not!!! But given the price of the R2 manifold, i say it's cheaper to learn welding and spend a bit on material for a few trials!

A bit of that :)

Most important thing will be to follow the path of the existing pipes, but I'll get them in a slightly bigger diameter (about 2-3mm more).

Amazing car man! You've got some great track times too!

I can't wait to see what times your getting by the end of the year with the engine swap :p

Sadly the engine swap will only happen in 2013, I must change of place to live first and get a second car too ...

So this year will be only 1.6 with a few more upgrades.

Ahah no i need a new place to live, the current flat is new, nice, modern and everything, but i need to take the elevator to go work in the underground parking on the car, and i hate that. So next will be to find an old barn or some like that and build a loft /workshop in it to park the new car and the RS and also park the Ducati project i'll start soon :)

Hey, I get first dibs on going with yotah! :p

And those stickers look so badass! I've seen those frontwindshield stickers too, with an arrow to the right that says, "slower traffic move to the side" :D

Car's looking good mate! Have you fitted the pedal covers to make it easier to heel & toe? Any pics? Link to where you got them from?
Cheers :D

No parts yet ordered or received, I must wait for the salary to get into the account on Feb 15th ...

I order most of the stuff directly from Renault Sport in Dieppe, with the R1/R2 catalogues. The rest will certainly come from Demon Tweeks.

So are the pedals from demon tweaks or from and R1/R2?
