I finally got today the complete video of me with the RS entering the Karussel corner at the Nurburgring, seen from outside. Me? Agressive driving? Naaaaa ..... :lol:

As a passenger? No prob, I usually take friends and other people as passengers, but helmet is a must have.
 
Not updated this thread for a while ...

Front anti roll bar is back in place with the AST mounts which arrived at Xmas, and this morning I ordered the R2 decal kit in grey for the body sides, should be on the car by the weekend :)

Next month, lightweight Lithium Ion battery (1.75kg!!), R2/V6 airbox, NGK R9 spark plugs, Samco cooling ducts, engine mounts from the R2, Ktec gearbox mount, new brakes ducts and boas, Brembo max disc brakes for the front, rear camber plates, R2 seat supports, R2 pedals, R2 steering wheel, pop off steering wheel support, modification of the steering column to lower it and bring the steering wheel backwards (will need tailor made parts for that...), removal of every electric wire which has become useless, removal of the aircon, R2 door panels, rear carbon panels to fit also, and some 3M carbon vynil wrap on the grey elements of the car (depending if the R2 decals are the same grey or not), and last but not least, I must put on the Twingo 133 stickers!!!!
 
Sounds like you've got quite the to do list, but sounds like you're going to have an awesome result :)
 
Do you go to the ring on a regular basis (when it's better weather)? I'd like to see that Twingo in action sometime ;)

I´ll post the anti-roll bar picture tonight. It´s the OEM one back in position, only with specific AST mounts for the coilies, that they forgot to send me when I ordered them ...

Frediii, the battery is a Super B Li-ion B10 batetry, 1.75 kg, about the size of a soda can, same performance as the OEM battery, just much lighter and it allows me to put the R2 airbox without rerouting the cables and the battery to the trunk. It costs a lot (540€) but removes so much work for me that it´s worth it!
By pedals, i only mean the pads, to gett he brake and throttle closer to one another and make heel-toe easier. The new pedal box will come with the new engine (and sooooo many other things...).

DrDrew and Davey, I can´t wait to see the car finished either, I haven´t done major mods for a couple of months, i miss it!

MovingShadow, I´ll be back at the Ring on a bi-weekly basis at least from March when the car will be ready and the Jahreskarte in my pocket, and with some sun i hope :) !! Drop by anytime (i´ll post here to say when I go) and you´ll get a free passenger lap.
