Car looks amazing especially with all the stickers! Not so sure on all the recent money you spent was so worth it as my old saxo vts only had sparco sprint 5 buckets and 3 point harnesses and i swear even now no other seat could have offered a worthwhile improvement!

More vids are needed though :D

manofhow : getting bored at work ...

twing0joe : trust me, 6 point harnesses are worth it, and every last little modification has resulted in a change of behavior of the car as important as when i moved to semi slicks!

Ok, so, one "video" from Sunday, but no sound as the camera's mic fucked up ...

So only 1' or so in one of the best parts of the track, overtaking a bit and being stuck also because of BMW drivers

The left hander over the Breidscheid / Adenau bridge is a bit of a tricky moment ...

The Sparco Sprints use a Tubular Steel construction and are heavier than the equivalent Fiberglass seat for those in the pursuit of weight loss.
Also, 3 Point Harnesses don't do the best at evenly distributing forces in the event of a crash and also don't have a crotch strap to stop you submarining below the waist belt (again, in the event of a crash).
Makes you feel more confident knowing this and usually makes you a faster driver :)

If nothing else, it's for piece of mind especially on the Nurb's lack of run off

Just my 2 pence on it :D

That BMW driver can't have been looking in his mirrors much

Well he drives a BMW, so i guess like msot BMW drivers, he believes that nobody can overtake him, especially not a Twingo ...

But this one was ok, he didn´t block me for too long. Another one, with his M3 E46, closed me every doors and even pushed me onto the grass when I was next to him, and in the final straight, he looked at me, gave me a finger, and put his foot down ...

Clever guy, especially as the final straight has a speed limit and the cops were watching.
Revenge is a dish best served cold!

Start watching some 265 trophy videos?

Probably for safety exiting the track and to help prevent people flying past and getting a cheejy free lap

Sure it was, I was standing behind the cops with a big dirty smile on my face :D

Regarding the speed limit it is there so that people slow down before the exit mostly, as a few years ago one idiot crashed his A6 in the armco, head first, and injured 3 people at the same time. That's what happens when a two ton piece of metal hits an armco at 150mph ...

Photos coming up later this week :

- passenger seat fitted with R2 supports
- passenger 6 point harness fitted
- floor pans in aluminium fitted roughly this weekend, final fitting tonight
- complete clean of the car
- complete service of the car before the Easter weekend at the track
- rear interior carbon panels fitted
- driver carbon footrest fitted

Remains :
- rubber pads and fixing points to install in the trunk for all the tools
- new brake ducts
- new tires!

And on Saturday I put down the deposit to reserve a Megane 3 RS 300hp engine with its turbo, wiring loom, clutch, exhaust decat manifold and intercooler :D
Won´t be fitted before 2013 though but the offer was too good to pass on!
