the twingo is going to be a beast with that engine in, just hope u do something to control the power :)

Will it fit?? i know ktec fitted one in a 197 but surely twingo is too small?

When you do that, you should fit a good rollcage.

That thing will go a million miles an hour

Wow lots of answers !

Well the engine fits, I drove one on Saturday, that´s how I decided to go down the Turbo road, even though I´m more of a NA guy myself. So it fits, currently has a CLio 182 gearbox in the dealer´s car but it´s too slow (the gearbox, not the complete car). mine will be fitted with a sequential and a complete mechanical LSD to put the power down. Also the dealer´s current setup is done on a Freeway Twingo, so with normal tracks and everything, the RS will be a better base to fit 300hp obviously but still, I will fit a Clio Cup front suspensions and steering setup to allow for a wider track and more camber and adjustments everywhere, and also bigger discs too so i can get it road legal.

The cage will be fitted at the same time obviously, full cage from front to back over the suspensions towers and everything.

The rear track will be widened too, using a Clio rear axle or buidling something with independent suspensions, not sure which way I´ll go yet.
It will also get plexi windows and flat underfloor pnales with rear diffusor to add some downforce to the lady so it stays on the road!

Well, anyway, the beginning of the next stage of the project.

Wow. Your twingo's already epic, but this is just going to take it to a whole new level of awesome :)

I will be waiting in the shadows for when this inevitably comes up for sale a week after its finished ;)

seriouslu though that would be epic as in a true 911 killer...if you getvrid of any old parts throw them my way..

EVerything caracterizing my car actually will be for sale obviously, apart from the seats and seatbelts basically.
Engine, gearbox, wheels, brakes, suspensions, all will go away.

Yes Ollie, there's already a Twingo (a cheap basic Freeway actually) with a 2.oL Turbo engine in it.

Demsej, yep that's the one, red Freeway built by Autohaus Kirfel in Adenau.

Some pics of the latest mods, even though the floor panels will be removed tomorrow actually as they lift my feet a bit too high so it makes heel-toe a bit harder.
