did you take into account the random fuel usage without the engine running?

Well I have a theory but will leave that for another thread. Importantly that must be a record mpg for you :p

i managed this weekend on the journey down south to get to 185 miles on half tank. so would have been a good full tank run.

sry dont document it so meticulously like you james. :p

Haha I do keep an eye, and to be honest this was picture worthy as chicken will agree it's never been there before!!

What sort of MPG can be expected from the Twingo 133 on a cold start? My journey to work consists of a 5-mile trip each way, mostly doing speeds of 30-50mph with a few stop and starts.

Is the MPG terrible? Or still around the 30-35mpg mark?

Nope, terrible. Tho if you're expecting 30 then you'll be happy! (I class that as terrible)

Joys of running low at the edge of a dual carriageway. But it doesn't get much cheaper around here!

My twingo has done me proud - got all the way down to devon, few drives out down there, then all the way back up.. (just)

a grand total of 401.1 miles.. It was on fumes when I got back to near home. :D not sure how to work that as an mpg though.

Could be about 45mpg then!

Basically work it out like:

Miles driven / litres of fuel filled with x 4.54

So basically if you filled up with about 40litres it would be:

401 / 40 x 4.54 = 45.5135

oo not bad then! il work it out on my next tank :D cheers!

quite economical for the 8v engine on a fully loaded drive.

That's pretty bad. My 197 has now settled on 23.7mpg over the time I have had it.

31.5 from the 200. If only I could work out what the pedal on the right does? :D
