Dropped off the (new) front bumper details at B&C design for wrapping.

& I went to get some ICE upgrades. Thats 600€ of Hertz quality.

This will take atleast a full day of installing.

Stealth mother f****r.. Looks mint! What you doing with your summer wheels? Black?
Thats still the suprise..

I can tell you they wont be black, nor white or metallic..

Or cheap :?

Still waiting on the price but yes I'm looking for new wheels.

Getting impatient about how it takes to give me a price on the new wheels.

Think I'll go ahead and show you what I have in mind.

Have blue details in my headlights, blue details in the engine bay (blue airfilter) I wanted blue wheels..

So I've found some and have to say, I've not seem them on any Twingo RS here.

Opinions?

It's a no from me.

Maybe a better option could be a black wheel with a blue lip...?

Question is when though..

Planning on a big vacation to the US with my gf and I payed the airline tickets for her last weekend.. big 'ouch' to the wallet :p

Well since we're further planning the vacation to the US and I've just payed the rental car, new wheels wont be for this year. (Although I might consider 16" winter wheels because the 15" is too small IMO)
So I'm going to give the Superturimo's a touch-up with some fresh paint.

Anyway, I went to a hardware store because it bothered me that the airfilter was resting on top of the engine and kept getting scratched so I made myself a 'harness' with a 90° shaped metal plate. Screwed it in place with the bolt holes from the OEM airbox and some rubber rings in between so the metal doesn't start squeeking.

Had to make the costum air filter shorter though to make it fit.

Superturismo's are with W&D Tuning for repairing the small kerb damage.

For the time, I've got my 17" Renault wheels back on and the winter wheels are off.

Hopefully I got the OZ's back before the first meet in Belgium (Heaven On Wheels) but I doubt it, he said he got a lot of work.
When I get the OZ's back I'm probaly going to lower the car a little more too :p

The front coilovers can go alot more lower, in the rear I'm going to take out the adjustable screw so the spring is going to sit directly on the chassis.

So youre gona have it set up like mine lol

Hertz ICE is installed.. took us 2 full days but we got it done.

I'll post pictures later but can I say one thing though..

[/rant] what kind off a panty wearing homosexual at Renault decided to make things so freaking small to work with. You can cut yourselfs on the amount of sharp plastic edges on that car and not to mention the wires in the car are impossible to do something with resulting in putting wires inside the side panel of your car, putting your fingers through the side indicator to get it through.. goddamnit!! [/endrant]

I fractured the side interior panel around my door because I pulled it too hard..

Yea, 2 days from in the morning 09h/10h until 18h in the evening.

The guy who helped me used to do this on VW's and Audi's but he never done a French car, he didn't knew what he got himself into :p

For instance, who at Renault decided, instead of screwing the OEM speakers in the door panel with regular bolts.. no they used these metal plugs that were shot into the door.

So we needed to drill them out. Oh and this car received an update going from 13 cm speakers in the door panel to 16 cm speakers in the door panel

But in the end I'm glad of the result, you don't see any wires runing when sitting in the car, everything is nicely tucked away and the sound quality difference is staggering.
