Would be awesome if I could have done this before I went to FCS but it's not feasible right now.

Say its a free thing you can do to the speakers! or something ;)
 
She tought it had to do with color, or speakers until I told her it's short for removing the catalyst on a car.

So she gave me a rant about pollution :roll:

She's someone that can barely tell the difference what type of car is what, she has 0 interest in cars.
You try to rectify a decat to someone that makes sense about why I should bother with it :lol:

She's also into politics so she's good in arguing.

But even though, it wont be until after September so for now I'm going to think about it. Because still, it's a 1.2 with a hairdryer :mrgreen:
 
Should've told her it's a process where a special bit of piping is added in order to keep the local cats away from your car while you drive so they won't breathe in the harmful fumes
 
Decat - removing cats from the local neighbourhood. Will that one work as an excuse?

Apparently some people have told me that the damage that the OZ's have is not actually repairable and they need to be replaced by new ones.

They can cover it up a little but because it has chunks of metal missing, you'll keep seeing it.
Wont be a cheap refurb either.

I've send a dossier with pictures to my insurance, called them today and they're looking into it and hopefully I get some kind of refund..

So I've been looking at other wheels (sell the Superturimo's & colleague at work is interested in them)

Already asked for a price & not the cheapest but they are 'Legends' ;)

Now I'll have to wait for my insurance to reply.
 
I hope you'll get good news though.. :( And I hope that I can get the decat fitted this autumn! Wish I could do it on my own, but I'm not really eeh.. good with tools and stuff.. :lol:
 
So normally this should be send today by Ktec and I'll have it on Monday (he said I should have it by Friday but tomorrow is a national holiday so I'm not counting on it)

Think I've set myself a goal and be a competitor for Neil's RS by next year FCS :twisted: (its interentbigballs to say but you need some ambition :p )
 
Car went into service last week for it's 60k (km) mark.

I also asked the garage to fit the Ktec braided lines. As they had never done this (it's illegal in Belgium MOT), they asked that I come back to check if everything fits well (for free) just to be sure I don't run out of brakes, they said.

About 420€ for a big service + the special request and they washed my car for me.

I don't live near that garage anymore but I love their service.

When I'm back from my vacation in September I'm going to look into that decat at MB-Power (or maybe sportscat, as they can do costum jobs)
+ a few other things that haven't been done to a GT engine, as far as I'm aware of and fit the intercooler.

hybird turbo? New exhaust manifold + larger turbo? ITB'd turbo setup? Ummm NOS :lol:... Twin turbo set up :eek:
