It's time to give some news.

The car is in winter setup with the winter tires on the 16" OZ ULG. I've reduced the camber down to 1° negative on all four corners as I don't track the car anymore and won't until 2015.
I've had some problems lately with the AST coilovers (again!!!) so they will be replaced by BC Racing coilovers in early 2014 and to replace the AST camber plates, I will fit the Twingo R2 camber plates I bought in 2011. They require to cut the chassis, weld some reinforcement around the suspension strut tower, and weld a specific metal plate with the holes for the camber plate to be bolted onto. It's a bit of work but at least this way, I won't have anymore problems and I was going to do that modification anyway for the new engine, so now it will already be done.

I'll do some photos of the car this weekend after cleaning it, been a while since I shot some pics of it :)

2014 will be dedicated to the new car, I have to buy it, learn it, tame it, enjoy it :)

Next winter, I'll start the list of modifications to the RS for the engine swap as I'll put a CLio 3 RS engine and gearbox in the Twingo, with the compressor kit from K-Tec to get around the 250hp mark. With that will also be installed front Megane 2 RS struts, bigger brakes, new 17" ATS GTR wheels, full welded cage, new pedal box, Lexan windows to save weight, and I must work on some new body panels to accomodate the wider tracks and make the doors, bonnet and trunk lighter. I've got a good friend who's an expert on carbon fiber so he'll do the final molding and all.
A lot of money will be invested again in the car, but I seriously can't see myself selling it as it is right now as I would barely get a few thousand euros for it which would be a massive loss compared to what I spent on it, so I'll just put more cash into it and make it the freakin fastest FWD car on the Nordschleife :D

By the way i just started my new job (which explains why i'm planning those projects again), so now I'm back in France, working for Citroen as an interior designer for both concept cars and production vehicles (gotta love my job!!!)

See ya boys :)

Would you not think about fitting a limited slip diff with the new engine & gearbox?

Plans are finally coming together as we have all been waiting for this! lol

Yes, the gearbox will benefit from a LSD when we fit it to the car.

Hope you found good garage for the top mount modification

(I was thiking about MATTER - MOTORSPORT)

cause I need to put mine also ^^ (so I need a good adress :D)
actual setup to fit for the R2 shock is a bit "bricolage"

Matter is amazing, but awfully pricy, but given what you sunk already in your suspensions, i guess you just stopped counting the euros :D
