Thats usual at a young age to be honest. I looked like pop eye at 18 hahaha
 
Wish I had such low body fat! I'm around the 12-14% mark at mo by June wana be at 8-10 hopefully
 
Ditch the fastfoad, drink lots of water (drink as less soda as possible), don't eat snacks & focus on cardio and you'll burn though the fat ;)
 
^^^ what he said but just do sprinting instead 20 seconds sprint 40 second rest and repeat 20 times
 
A good one i learnt in the army is after a good gym sesh dont drink anything.

You'll dehydrate and your body will start to eat your fat.

Side effects could include headaches etc though lol
 
I advice to drink alot of water because it's fills the stomach and will make you less hungry and prevent from eating stuff like Scooby snacks but you'll visit the 'loo' alot more often :p

Wouldn't that also starve your muscles, at the time when they realy need to start repairing themselves. So, you will feel knackered and sore and less likely to train the next day

If your dehydrated, how can the liver etc function properly to burn any fat?
 
Or go to the opposite like our sadist of a PTI did at basic training and make us down a couple of litres of water and then frag us until we spewed it back up haha good times
 
I think the reason they do it is so when you think you're having an awful time you can look back on times like that and think "wait, this isn't so bad" it's a pretty good mantra to have when training and you start to think you can't carry on and you can look back to a time when you have done in the past

Kelly, how's that diet getting on for you?

I haven't taken a reading since my first one. First reading was

16.6stone
31.7% body fat
I apologise for the pics now and don't look if your eating ;) so this is when I began

Then this is now. I haven't taken a weight or body fat reading since but it's different.

This is after 2weeks and I have 10more to go!
I know Im not skinny and fit etc like you all. But this is my year Im going to change :)

I apologise again for the pics. Will be better in few weeks! :)

I'm trying to get myself back In to shape too, I've become quite lazy since my gym closed for referb for a year and the shifts at work don't help plus I think when you are in A happy relationship you do tend to let go a bit. I've lost 8lbs since starting about 5 weeks ago so whatever I'm doing is working.

I haven't set foot in a gym. :) not yet anyways. Lol! Keep it up, doing will Caz
 
I used to go swimming most mornings before work and I loved it so was a shock to the system when they closed and the nearest gym is like 18 miles and after work plus traffic and extra petrol I just can't do it. Lazy of me I know but I've managed to do stuff from home and whatever it is its working :)
Thanks, we will both have the end results we want one day
 
Just had chance to get on scales, after two weeks this is how it looks

31.7% down to 29.4% body fat
16.6 stone down to 15.6 :)
 
Looking good bro I'm down to 11.8% at 156 lb at 5'7" bulk up for me over next autumn winter !!
